Terms of Use

Effective October 25, 2026

These terms apply when you use the Savocado iPhone app ("Savocado", "we"). By using Savocado you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

Who can use Savocado

You must be at least 13 years old. If you're under 18, use Savocado with a parent or guardian's permission.

Prices are estimates

Savocado shows the lowest prices we found from stores' websites, data providers and Instacart, with the time each price was checked. Prices, availability and promotions change and can differ in store, online, by location, or through delivery services such as Instacart. Always confirm the price at checkout. Statements like "lowest price we found" refer only to the stores and time shown. We are not responsible for a store's pricing or for decisions you make based on information in the app.

No affiliation

Savocado is independent. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any store or brand shown. Store and brand names are trademarks of their owners and are used only to identify where a price applies.

AI assistant

"Ask Savocado" uses an AI model to write answers. Answers can be incomplete or wrong. Health grades are based on Nutri-Score data where available and otherwise are AI estimates. Nothing in Savocado is medical, dietary, legal or financial advice. Don't use the assistant for anything unlawful or to submit other people's personal information.

Savocado+ subscription

Savocado+ is an auto-renewing subscription sold through Apple. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase (or at the end of a free trial). The subscription renews automatically at the then-current price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. If the price goes up, Apple will tell you before your next renewal and, where required, ask for your consent first. Manage or cancel in iOS Settings › Apple Account › Subscriptions. Any unused part of a free trial ends when you buy a subscription. Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies. Apple's Standard End User License Agreement also applies.

Your content

When you send a price report, a photo or an assistant question, you let us use it to operate and improve Savocado (for example, to correct a price). Don't send anything you don't have the right to share, and don't send personal information about others.

Acceptable use

Don't misuse Savocado: no scraping or reselling our data, no attempts to break, overload or reverse-engineer the service, no false reports, and no use that breaks the law.

Changes and availability

We may change, suspend or discontinue features, including which stores we cover. We may update these terms; we'll change the date above and, for significant changes, tell you in the app.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

Savocado is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (or $10 if you paid nothing).

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
